Embrace the Future of Clean Energy at This Year's REM Conference
Renewable Energy Markets (REM) is an annual conference for the clean energy industry

WGL Energy is the exclusive conference City Sponsor of the 2015 Renewable Energy Markets (REM) conference, scheduled for October 18-20 in Washington, D.C. Join leaders from federal and state governments, large corporate purchasers, the nation's leading utilities and electricity generators, and marketers from around the world to help set the clean energy agenda for the coming year.

Now in its 20th year, the annual Renewable Energy Markets (REM) conference is the leading forum for the clean energy marketplace. Attracting participants from around the globe who share an interest in and commitment to promoting clean energy, REM remains the only conference of its kind focusing on national and international markets for renewable energy. The conference is organized by the nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions and is co-sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

On the afternoon of Sunday, October 18, be sure to join us for a special pre-conference event in Washington, D.C. You’ll have an opportunity to see the carport solar array at Catholic University, home to the very first solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in the District of Columbia and one of the first large-scale solar campus installations in the Washington D.C. area. Visit www.renewableenergymarkets.com/2015-tour/ to register for this free, onsite tour.

And on Monday, October 19, join us for an evening of fun as the WGL Energy-sponsored Green Power Party gets underway on the Odyssey cruise ship along the Potomac. It’s sure to be a memorable night, with live music, dining, exceptional service, monumental views and the company of your fellow REM participants.

During the conference, you’ll hear from WGL Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, Dr. Louis J. Hutchinson, III, who will lead a discussion on the landscape for renewable energy markets, organizational sustainability and market growth. WGL Energy thought leaders Bernice McIntyre, Chris Leveriza and Alicia LaRoche will be on hand to moderate several panel discussions on topics ranging from the EPA’s Clean Power Plan, market pricing and policy issues, and green marketing success stories.

Find out "what's next?" on the clean energy agenda. Register now and secure your place at this year’s REM conference in Washington, D.C. Visit www.renewableenergymarkets.com.
