Arctic Air Arrives in Time for Winter
Control energy costs and reduce energy consumption with the right natural gas plan from WGL Energy

Social media was abuzz last week with images and stories about the Arctic air and winter weather that arrived here in the Mid-Atlantic. A blast of cold temperatures followed an Alberta Clipper storm, which delivered heavy snow showers to parts of the region, including Pennsylvania.

Winter has arrived and now is the time to review your energy portfolio with your WGL Energy account manager, broker or consultant. As noted in last week's issue of Energy Update, natural gas prices are among the lowest they’ve been since 1999.

We offer a variety of natural gas plans and procurement vehicles, including firm and interruptible service options for commercial and industrial customers, along with a variety of budget-neutral energy solutions and service options for government agencies, who want to control energy costs and reduce energy consumption.

Fixed-Price Contracts
Our fixed-price contracts are targeted to commercial and industrial customers who value price stability, and government agencies who want greater control over their energy costs. Fixed-price contracts reduce exposure to changes in the retail energy market with a natural gas supply price that remains the same over your entire contract period.

Index Contracts
Our index-based contracts offer a variable natural gas supply price, making them a good fit for government, commercial and industrial customers who want to take advantage of the pricing flexibility inherent in competitive retail energy markets.

Get the right plan for your business or government agency and stay warm this winter with clean and efficient natural gas from WGL Energy.

Please note our offices will be closed on Monday, January 18, 2016, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
