The Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference is underway in Baltimore, Maryland. This year’s theme is Measuring Our Impact and, as a Silver Sponsor, WGL Energy Services, Inc. (WGL Energy) has donated 105 Green-e® Climate certified carbon offsets to counterbalance conference emissions from energy use at the event space, hotel stays, ground transportation and land-filled waste. This year’s offsets were generated by preventing the release of methane from a landfill near Winchester, Virginia.
