WGL Energy Services (WGL Energy) participated in last week's 2017 Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) Winter Conference in Ocean City, Maryland. The conference, which was held December 6-8, 2017, focused on the creation of public and private sector partnerships for achieving the best outcomes for Maryland residents.
WGL Energy was a Corporate Silver Sponsor of this year’s conference. Team members staffed a booth to showcase our full spectrum of energy solutions and our approach to finding innovative solutions to the energy challenges of municipalities and other government agencies, as well as commercial and industrial businesses.
The conference was green, thanks to WGL Energy Services’ donation of carbon offsets to counterbalance the greenhouse gas emissions incurred from this event (such as energy use, hotel stays, food and other waste) — equivalent to avoiding greenhouse gas emissions from three cars for one year.
On Wednesday, December 6, 2017, Robin Cunningham, Green Products Specialist, and Jack Ensor, Sales Director, reported on current trends in energy efficiency services and financing options for large commercial customers and government agencies. Robin and Jack also presented relevant case studies, actionable plans and available tools for helping these organizations to create and implement an energy efficiency strategy for achieving their sustainability goals.
Our array of energy efficiency solutions for government, commercial and industrial customers includes a free online tool for empowering you with energy efficiency recommendations, as well as a variety of turnkey performance contracting, financing and performance guarantees that can help you save money.
