How You Can Go Green During Game Season

With the game season in full effect, this is the perfect time to offset your footprint.  This week we will provide you with tips on how you can reduce carbon throughout the game season.

At the location. Educate yourself on how your team is reducing, reusing, and recycling. In doing so you also will be able to help your community and the environment by saving money, energy, and natural resources.

Arriving to the game. Consider using the EPA’s tools and resources when deciding how you will get to the game. For example, the Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator would show you the impact of the amount of gasoline consumed by your car.

Utilize greener products. Green purchasing can lead to reducing climate impacts, improving the health of frontline communities, preventing pollution, and more.

You can reduce your environmental impact even while watching your favorite sport. To learn more about you can go green with WGL Energy visit our website or call 1-833-61-GREEN (1-833-614-7336) to speak with one of our energy experts.
